What buyers ask us most: why double wall and why borosilicate. Double wall cups are blown as two separate glass layers, then fused at the rim, trapping a still air layer in between. That layer slows heat transfer — a hot drink stays hot longer, the outer surface stays warm rather than scalding, and the liquid appears to float, which is exactly the effect gift and café buyers pay for.
Borosilicate (3.3) glass has a very low thermal expansion coefficient, so it tolerates sudden temperature swings of roughly 120–150 °C without cracking — microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe, lead-free, and noticeably lighter than ordinary glass.
